Digital Innovation Hubs (DIHs) are one-stop shops that help businesses become more competitive in their business and production processes, products, and services by leveraging digital technologies.

They are based on state-of-the-art technological infrastructures that function as Competence Centers (CCs), providing access to the latest knowledge, expertise, and technology. Their purpose is to support clients through pilot projects and digital innovation, enabling testing and experimentation.

In addition, DIHs offer business and financial support for the implementation of these innovations, when needed, across the entire value chain.

They are established through collaboration among multiple partners and may maintain strong links with service providers beyond their region, who actively support enterprises.

The EduTech DIH, coordinated by the Lifelong Learning Programs of the University of the Aegean, specializes in innovation in education — particularly in new technologies combined with modern pedagogical approaches — across Education, Vocational Education and Training (VET), and Corporate Learning & Development.

Vision

To establish the first Digital Innovation Hub dedicated to educational technology and innovation in education and training, strengthening Greece’s position at the European and international level and making it a reference point in Southeastern Europe.

Mission

The mission of EduTech DIH is twofold: on the one hand, to monitor developments in the field of digital education, and on the other, to coordinate and provide the necessary resources in order to deliver personalized, innovative, advisory, and practical education and training services to individuals, businesses, and organizations.
